Dicky Deegan has been playing the Uilleann Pipes for over 30 yrs (Tin Whistle for 45years!) and his first wedding 27 years ago.

He performs professionally fairly often in London, Brittany, Germany and Ireland. He was one of the original members of Guy Richie's (Lock, Stock & two Smoking Barrels, Sherlock Holmes & A Game of Shadows) Punchbowl Band in Mayfair and performs several times a year in London for Stella McCartney.

Dicky lived for many  years in Tasmania, Australia. Performance venues in Australia include the Sydney Opera House, Huntingdon in NSW, The famous Der Speigeltent, The Great Hall at Montsalvat,  all the major Folk/World Music Festivals and (crowning glory) the MCG (Melbourne Cricket Ground).

He has also performed for SBS TV, ABC TV & Radio (Australia) as well as BBC Radio(UK), Canal+ TV (France) and Radio na Gaeltachta (Ireland) in addition to UK/European/Irish Festivals.

Naturally there have been many performances for weddings too, from City Cathedrals to the Outback in Australia and the humble English/Irish/Scots villiage Church to the French Chateau in the Northern Hemisphere.

Between Wedding commitments, Dicky performs in Europe, Ireland and the UK during the summer months.
